Alkoomi Frankland River Riesling is a brilliant, pale straw color with emerald flecks, with lifted aromas of pink grapefruit zest, orange blossom and hints of musk. Racy and steely, yet delicate with flavors of grapefruit juice and citrus. Taut and linear on the palate with a precise mineral acidity.

This wine is made in the austere, flinty style common to Western Australia's Great Southern region. There's a little kerosene on the nose, along with gentler citrus-blossom notes. The palate is dry, with rapier acidity and a lovely chalky texture. This food-friendly Riesling could be drunk now if not too cold, or cellared until at least 2029.
